Hi, Im Hannah and this is Chiltern Dog Training!

I focus on working with pet dog owners to help them create a harmonious and fulfilling life together. I work with dogs of all ages, from puppies through to senior dogs, so get in touch today for a chat about how I can help you.

I am an insured IMDT qualified dog trainer, hold a level 5 diploma in animal behaviour with the ISCP and am trained in first aid for dogs. I was coached by a leading dog trainer in North London, and have been involved with dog rescue since 2012 as a trainer, kennel hand and fosterer.

I use only kind, ethical based training methods with dogs. I love to utilise play and food to train dogs and improve the relationships between dogs and their owners.

I am always working on improving my skills, so I am regularly learning from experts in the field through training courses, lectures and workshops.

How did I get into dog training?

I have been dog obsessed since a child, so it was only natural I ended up working with dogs!

After graduating University I spent all my free time volunteering at a rescue centre, which taught me a lot about different dog breeds and personalities.

We fostered then adopted my handsome Bruno the staffie from a local rescue. It was upon adopting Bruno that my interest in dog training was really sparked. He one day had an incident with another dog at a local park which left him worried by other dogs. We worked hard on this together and overcame his dog reactivity and separation anxiety. We attended dog training classes together for a couple of years to help with Bruno's interactions with other dogs, but also because I just enjoyed it so much! I learnt so much from these, and so I set about taking courses to start my career as a dog trainer.
